The Switzerland in Zimbabwe has launched a program “Diverse Pathways 4 Progress,” comprising FIVE organisations that work towards advancing peace and good governance. These organisations include 4-H Zimbabwe Foundation, Zimbabwe Institution, Christian Alliance, Center for Applied Legal Research, and Ukuthula Trust.

The DP4P Consortium is working to create spaces for open dialogue, legislative reform, and reconciliation. The initiative marks a significant step towards fostering peace, inclusion and justice in Zimbabwe. It strengthens the bond between citizens, civil society, and government, promoting a peaceful and prosperous future for all Zimbabweans.

4-H Zimbabwe has been working with youth from across the political divide through capacity-building training, sport4peace, art4peace, and community engagement meetings.

Ambassador of Switzerland to Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Malawi, Mr. Stephane Rey emphasised the importance of peace, justice, and equity.

He said, “Switzerland is proud to support this program, which aligns with the National Development Strategy 1 and fosters dialogue across political, ethnic, and social lines.”

Present at the event were the Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs, The Mayor of Bulawayo David Coltart, and representatives of the National Chiefs Council.
