Last year in August 4-H Zimbabwe hosted a National Youth in Politics Charter on Peace in the Electoral Processes and Youth Peace Pledge Signing Ceremony in Harare.
Youth leaders from the 11 Political Parties that contested in the 2023 harmonized elections in Zimbabwe were all present to sign the charter and they pledged to uphold peace and tranquility in the country. The youth leaders also pledged to to encourage youth in their respective parties to maintain peace.
The signing of the peace pledge and peace charter was highly effective as it contributed largely to the peace that was witnessed before, during and after the electoral process.
