The climate crisis is not “gender neutral”. Women and girls experience the greatest impacts of climate change, which amplifies existing gender inequalities and poses unique threats to their livelihoods, health, and safety.
This is why 4-H Zimbabwe is ensuring that it provides excess water for women in rural communities through establishing solar powered boreholes and nutritious community gardens so as to improve their livelihoods.
Empowering women means empowering a whole nation , therefore through this initiative it is the organization`s aim to eliminate gender inequalities and improve women`s safety.
